AN INTEGRATED DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM FOR RURAL MEXICO

From "Give Ye Them To Eat" - An Integrated Development Program serving vulnerable families in the rural sector of South Central Mexico since 1977.

At the GYTTE program's "Tree of Life" Training Center villagers and students are offered informal training in Health, Community, Agricultural and Livestock Development as well as in Church and Faith Development. The technologies and skills they learn at the Center can be adopted and adapted to their own local needs.

The children, youth and adults served by the program staff could not participate in the training events GYTTE offers if they had to pay for these learning experiences. Those who come for training cover their transportation expenses and sacrifice paid work days to gain knowledge and new skills to improve the lives of their family, church and community. The GYTTE Program provides scholarships for marginalized people to prepare them for a more secure future.

We invite you to join us in this ministry with the rural poor of south-central Mexico.

“More Than A Bandage ” - Community and Family Health Scholarships: The “Give Ye Them To Eat” program (GYTTE) sponsors training courses to prepare village women as community-based, primary health providers and furnishes them with teaching materials and first-aid kits to address preventive health measures and first aid needs in their communities.
